TV Legend Ed McMahon passed away today. I can't say I'm too surprised since he was on his last legs but it's still very sad to hear. My condolences go out to his family.

Aw. :( I still remember "Heeerrreee's Johnny!" And there's all the other work he did, too. He was definitely a personality and will be missed.

I agree, it's definitely sad to hear of his passing. He's done so much work and obviously he was famous for that very saying. He has been ill for awhile now so at least this way he won't be suffering from the illness. He will be missed.

I wonder if they'll do a special tribute to him on the Tonight Show? They should, given how much he gave to the show in the past.

Sad news about Ed McMahon's passing. :( He will be missed.

I had all but forgotten about him being on "Bloopers & Pratical Jokes". Anyone else remember that show? It was a hoot most times, lol.

On another message board I visit, someone said I wonder if Johnny Carson will be in Heaven saying "Hereeeeee's Ed!" Makes you wonder. :hmm:

And, I didn't know until I heard it on TV this morning, but he served in World War 2. :usa: He gets my respect for that!

Condolences to his family. May he RIP. :tombstone:

I was going to try to watch for it, but I forgot and missed the first half of the show.

Someone reminded me this morning of another one of Ed McMahon's works....he was in a recent superbowl commercial with M.C.Hammer for "Cash For Gold" (where you mail them your old gold and silver in an envelope and they send you cash money for it). There is a youtube video around online if anyone wants to look it up and check it out. It's quite funny, I think. :)
