Philips Cpap/Bipap recall

So this recall has been slipping though the cracks but looks to be the grounding for a major lawsuit. From what I've understood on various reports is that the foam that is used inside the air chamber will break down over time and break off micro parts that will enter into the airway of the machine and thus into your lungs. (yuck). I took apart a Dream Station (one of the effected units) and verified that foam could break down since it is in an area that has direct contact with the overall air flow. Thankfully I'm using a Bipap machine from another company.
