Dusk on the highway

I haven't posted much art lately, as with a lot to do with school and all, less time for it. The art I have been doing is a lot of abstract doodles that I often put in birthday cards. Well, I've been trying to do some bigger things, and this is one I did last month but never posted. I've been using my charcoals, as black and white with minimal color forces some creativity and frankly, is more fun. And I like being abstract-ish.

Terrific, Wolf Bird!! I have really missed your drawings and am so happy to see you at it again. This picture is awesome. One of the things that caught my attention is the lights from the headlights. This so reminds me of driving home at night. You captured it perfectly. Well done!

Using my creative brain has definitely been helping me get through finals. I may have less time the past couple weeks, but it's been a massive stress reliever after I've regularly been writing 7+ hours a day since Thanksgiving. Thanks! I have a few more done, but haven't posted them yet. I might post one tonight after I do some more work.

I really liked the effect of the cars and the lights in the highway. Nice to see you drawing different things, using different techniques, blending different elements in more complex drawings because it is the path to get better and better.
A person only sees and hears what he wants to see and hear and disregards the rest.

It's fun to experiment, for sure. Thanks, tili. :) I haven't drawn much since around Christmas, but that's because now I've been trying to plow through a lot of books before I'm spending a lot of time reading for class again. Maybe once I settle back into the usual routine I'll be doing some on/off drawing.
