Doughnut Burger

Anybody here ever eaten a doughnut burger?

A doughnut burger is a hamburger pattie between a doughnut (possibly a Krispy Kreme doughnut) instead of a hamburger bun.

This food item has become very popular at State Fairs and other places.

I love Krispy Kreme doughnuts, but I've never tried them with a hamburger pattie before.

Looks like it would have a whole lot of calories to it too, not to mention probably not being a heart healthy food.

Sometimes you just gotta try something new though.

I'm with Lucas on this one. I like burgers, and I'm not as fond with doughnuts as I used to be, but mixing the two probably wouldn't settle with me. It is a good idea, though personally, I'd rather eat a bagel burger. =P

That's a new one to me, too. I don't think I would like it. I hate when the buns on my burgers don't cover the meat fully. That's one of my pet peeves. Having a big hole in the center of the "bun" would annoy me.
