Huh... I've heard of the coins, but never really knew anything about them. After reading that article, I'm disappointed in the government. I understand the need to protect their security and claim to minting issues, but this seems overboard. Running an investigation for 70 years to recover a handful of coins strikes me as waste of resources that could be better applied to more important issues.
