I'm glad I live in Saskatchewan where DST does not apply. =D

Though, I know some people are jealous of me because of it... <.<

I know this is coming around every year, but honestly, I can't stand it!!!! I really wish they would set it at a certain time and let it be that way all year round. Just when I finally get used to a certain time, they change it back or forward whichever time of year it happens to be. This might be a good response for the "Letting Off Steam" thread, lol.

Well, it screwed up my sleep schedule. But, it will also be light late enough that I can set up the spotting scope I got with some of my tax refund after I shower off Habitat job site dust.

Bumping this up for March 2012.

That's right folks, it is once again time to remember Daylight Savings Time here in the good ole USA. Remember - Don't Forget - to set your clocks ahead one hour before you go to sleep on Saturday night, so you will have the right time on Sunday morning. The time change becomes effective at 2 a.m. Sunday morning, I think it is. A good way to remember this is that we "Spring Forward" with the time at this particular time change.

Don't ya just love these time changes!!! :grumpy:

Daylight Savings Time ? I didn't know these terms ! In france and french it's "changement d'heure" (time change) ou "passage à l'heure d'été" (passing to summer time but I'm not really sure !!).

Here it's only scheduled for the 25th of march ! It's already this week end in USA ? And the UK ? (I know that there is already a one hour difference in time between London Time and Paris time :))

And contrary to Silver_Surfer I LOVE this DST (here in france this DST is for Direction de la Sureté du Territoire : the Secret Services ! lol ^^) !! You can have more sun and all is better ! I love it : in fact sleep changes deosn't bother me at all because I don't sleep during long hours (5/6 is sufficient). :)

I much prefer Daylight Saving Time. I get more sunshine, and my evening commute (which is my "morning" commute, since I work nights) isn't in the dark.

TANITH : We agree totally : it's much better but it's always cool to swithch those hours and I find that your sleep schedule isn't really changed by a one hour change two times a year :)

Well, it's Daylight Savings Time once again in the USA. Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour before you go to bed Saturday Night. Remember this is the Fall season so we Fall back an hour.

It's supposed to give us one more hour of sleep, but it will probably only mean one more hour of time to stay awake for me because I can't sleep well sometimes and wind up staying awake.

Oh well, enjoy that extra hour of sleep...if you can!!

2013 Daylight Savings Time begins this weekend in the United States on Sunday, March 10th. Remember to "spring forward" by setting your clocks ahead one hour on Saturday night before you go to bed and then you'll be on correct time Sunday morning.
