Don't forget - Daylight Savings Time

Postby Thoul » Sat Nov 3, '07, 11:42 pm

I want to remind everyone that Daylight Savings Time ends in the US tomorrow. Remember to set your clocks back an hour if you are in an area affected by DST.

Also, don't forget to adjust the timezone setting in your profile here on the board. The board will not adjust this automatically, so you'll need to do it manually.

I always forget about these things. At least there's that one saying that's easy to remember, "Spring ahead, fall back."

Oh, they changed the time for that this year, didn't they? I totally forgot it was coming up. Thanks for the reminder!

No kidding. That saying is the only reason I remember which way the time is supposed to adjust.

It's hard to pick, isn't it? :p I'd go with the sleep, but that's just me.

I forgot to set the clocks back but another family member did. I just woke up, saw the time, and went with it. :)

Bumping this topic up as it's that time of year again.

Daylight Savings Time ends this weekend in the UK.

Daylight Savings Time ends next weekend in the USA.

Don't forget to set your clocks at the appropriate time for your area!!!

Guess what time it is again? Yeah, that's right. Daylight Savings Time begins again this weekend in the US. Remember make your clocks "spring forward" if you're affected.
