No, I don't usually. I think I had maybe one cold last winter and that wasn't too bad. Sometimes I get a little tummy ache from eating all that food (Thanksgiving/Christmas dinners, etc.) and maybe stuff I don't usually eat. I have been out and about a little more lately doing Christmas shopping and stuff so it's not totally unexpected to get the sniffles this time of year. Still, at times, I feel lousy when I'm sick.

Hope you are feeling better soon Kaloes, and anyone else who may be feeling a bit under the weather.

I wouldn't call it sick. I have a sore throat, and an occasional stomach ache, but thats all.
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

Maybe you have allergies and are allergic to something around you or some other explanation. Or maybe it's just from being around other people who are sick (like at schools and such) and catching what they have. Have you seen a doctor?

Winter can be depressing for some people - I know - I don't like winter very much, lol! :grumpy:

Oddly enough, the past two years or so I'd get sick around October! :o But yeah, it seems like during the winter season people are more susceptible to catching illness. Hope you feel better soon, Kaloes.

I usually don't get sick at this time of year, but the few times that I have it's been a very unpleasant experience. A couple of years ago I had a really bad time of it. For a week or two, all I could do was lay down on the couch and sleep a lot. I was really dehydrated so I had to drink a lot more water than usual. When I wasn't sleeping (which was not much), I stayed on the couch and took my mind off how sick I was by playing a video game.

I'm fighting off a cold right now, too. I took some medicine this afternoon and it knocked me out for several hours.

Lol, I met someone that said the only reason people get sick during winter is because you like to cuddle when its cold and therefore are more vunerable to disease. XD

Well, I seem to have caught a slight cold that I can't shake off. It may just be sinuses acting up again, but it doesn't feel too good at times.

Did I mention how glad I will be to see Spring get here, lol. :sunny:

I'll miss winter quite a bit, its probably the nicest time round here, and if It wasn't so dog-gone dry, I'd like it to be like this all the time.

It's January and trees are budding, my mom's daffodils are coming up, and dandelions are coming up. This is a scenario that should be occurring in April.

I do get sick around this time of year...in fact, I usually get sick just in time to take my fall finals. And then I'm fine until spring, when I have allergies.
