I just wanted to know more about this mysterious caracters...

I don't really understand he's caracter story... Can someone explain it to me...?

They do kind of make him seem important at the beginning but he's pretty easy to forget.
He's there to make you think he's a knob, only to learn he's actually a coward. And a knob. He's also cheap because he never pays Alys.
I don't really know anything else about him.

He is there to add some drama and suspense at the beginning of the game. I think he is a correct addition to the plot, since hardly someone is "super important", but most of the games/books/movies fall into this trap. He seems to be important at a limited context, but then we see that he is nothing else, just the principal of an academy, with power and relevance only in subjects linked to the academy.

Yes. He just provides a way to introduce the concept of Alys and Chaz's job as hunters.
