I don't like the idea of modding my systems, so I've just imported a few games.

PS2: Swap Magic 3.something for the slim version of the PS2.
Tales of Destiny: Director's Cut
Phantasy Star Generation 1
Ouran High School Host Club

PSP: no region lock
Tales of Eternia (English version).
Tales of Destiny 2

DS: No region lock
Tales of Hearts

Yeah, I used to be quite the Tales junkie. Weirdly enough, I somewhat fallen out of love with the series. :S Most of my imports came from PlayAsia or Ebay.

My Japanese isn't too good, but I was so proud of my sister and myself for understanding enough to get through the first part of Phantasy Star without a GameFAQ! 8D I haven't finished it yet; I'll have to get back to it.

I saw a lot of games on Play Asia that haven't been released in North America which I want to try, but I'm not going to import a game if I can't understand the language.

I managed to get Phantasy Star Generation 1 today, so I'm going to try that soon. I have to figure out how to make my PS2 play imports first...

I've began importing more and more on my PS3/PSP....well not really importing. I have a Japanese PSN account, which I was mainly using to download demo, but since a few weeks, I've also began buying Japanese PSN card on Play-Asia (digitally), and thus buying Japanese game directly on the Japanese PSN. Since then, I've been totally addicted on the Project Diva games....I just can't stop playing them...someone save me...

Games? No. My "newest" console is my good old Genesis, so that makes no sense.

As for games memorabilia (books, figures, etc), yeah, I import a lot.

I'm an importer as well, and started with the Saturn too.

I recently placed preorders for both Valkyria Chronicles 3 and Macross: Triangle Frontier for the PSP.

There is a question I have, Xeloss. Are PS1 games from Japan compatible with American (as in the continent) PS3s? Because there are a few PS1 games I want from the store, but I heard and never confirmed that PS1 games are still region locked, which doesn't really make sense.

Granted I never tested a Japanese PS1 title from PSN yet, I'm pretty sure that you can play them without problem

Everything from PSN = not Region Locked
Original PS1 disc = Region Locked

The only title from another system I purchased on PSN was Valis for the PC-Engine CD, and it was not region-locked at least (not on my PS3 or my PSP)

still don't have Swap Magic, but I have been playing some Japanese PS2 games on an emulator. Most of the games are pretty slow but at least I can finally play the PS remakes (thankfully PSG2 is one of the games that runs at full speed).
