Handedness

Postby Reno » Mon Feb 4, '08, 10:54 pm

I was just curious about what handedness everyone here is aligned to. Me, I'm naturally left-handed but due to having to cope with many right-handed-only tools when I was growing up, (scissors, can-openers, the like) I can now answer the question, "Are you right-handed or left-handed?" by saying, "Yes" :D

lol, I'm sorta trying to learn to do stuff with both. But having done stuff only with the right hand for 16 years is a little hard to catch up on. lol
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

Nah, we're the ones with odd mutations, (I think... does anyone know what actually causes left-handedness? :? ) right-handed peoples are the ones who are normal and have the best chance at succeeding in most parts of the world. Heh, in Indonesia, it's still considered very offensive to eat with your left hand, (but that goes quite a ways back from a certain bathroom habit that the Indonesians used to practice...).

Yeah, I was told something to the effect that left-handed people tend to be better at math while right-handed people, well, aren't. :p Something to do with how the brain works, like the right side supposedly controls the left half of your body, whereas the left side controls the right; something like that, though I may be wrong (and I am no expert). ;)

I'm right handed for most things. I've gotten used to using my left hand for certain tasks, like drinking at meals, and it feels odd to use my right hand for those few things.

I am right handed also. It works fine for me. :) I suppose I do use my left hand for a number of things but mostly it's right all the way.

Lol, me and my friends have already proved that false  My friends is left handed and is taking Geometry for the 3? Year in a row? And I'm right handed and am currently passing my Algebra 2 class, yet I don't even do my homework. Plus I got 100% on our state math a couple years back. Oh yeah I'm good. lol

 I think it depends on the person, mostly. That, and it was a teacher who was talking about it in class one time. I think the only reason why I remember any of it is 'cause I thought it was interesting at the time.
