Did Rune break the fourth wall?

I wouldn't blame Rune for that. True, he could have done more. He did tell them that they weren't ready for Zio, though. The group hadn't decided to go after Zio at this point. When they did make that decision, they completely forgot about Rune's warning. I would say it is as much their fault as Rune's.
