I would say Dark Force in PSII is harder. At least with Mother Brain the outcome of the fight isn't based on random luck.

For the first battle, when I realised everything was doing damage I was like "That's not strange. Some enemies are stronger".

For the offical battle, I thought I didn't overprepare too much, maybe a little, but not much.

Ah, as far as I can remember it, like many other PS fans here, I was caught off gard by Zio ! That was just after the fight against Juza, so hard to think that another fight was bound to happen JUST after !

About the second encounter, I'm quasi certain that I over prepared it, as the memories of the sooner encounter was still vivid in my mind !
