Ms. Marvel for Halloween

A lot of you probably know in Australia, Halloween is not really celebrated at all. I personally don't celebrate the holiday. But it gave me an excuse to dress up (cosplay) one of my original characters. It's not the first time I’ve dressed up Autumn, last year I experimented with her and had her become Akuma from the Street Fighter series.

This time however I went with Ms. Marvel who is a heroine form the Marvel comic books. I've been watching a lot of X-Men as of late which I why I went with a Marvel character. I'm personally a little happier about the hands this time around.

The more I look at her like this the more I’m reminded of Catwoman. Clearly the numan ears...

Neat drawing. I have never heard abot Ms. Marvel before, but one thing that is interesting about your drawing is that her costume really looks like a party costume, i.e. looks similar to the heroine's clothing, but somewhat different.

She looks so thin, though. I think she should have more of those full dishes of meat and pasta

Thanks for your thoughts Tili, and yes I must agree with you about her looking a little skinnier this time around . As much as I liked the idea I had behind this drawing I just can’t say I’m totally happy seeing Autumn in a leotard, I deliberately gave her normal clothing to break the leotard fashion followed by Nei and Rika.

Also the Ms. Marvel image I uploaded there wasn’t the same image I used as a drawing reference I just wanted a good picture to show off who she was dressed up as. Anyway, thanks mate.

Yeah, I agree with both of you that she may be a little skinny but it's also a bit more realistic as some of those other professional drawings of characters (even the Ms Marvel one below) seem to be a bit over do in my opinion. I mean, come on, how many people do you know who are really that extremely well built physique wise???

Also, I kinda got the Catwoman connection feeling too. Love Catwoman.

Came across this again as I was hunting for Monster icons and thought since it was Halloween related that it deserved a bump up!!! Love the costume and the happy expression on her face!!

Carol Danvers/ Ms. Marvel/ Captain Marvel is one of my favorite character from Marvel Comics. Thanks for drawing her costume. It is always nice to see someone else acknowledge her.
