As death claims him, Zio calls out to his master, "Why do you abandon me?" Dark Force has no use for the black mage once defeated in battle. The promises of immortality the servant of darkness had received are proven false and Alys is avenged at last.

It's definitely his most expressive scene. I was always disturbed by his blank, white eyes.

Zio is having a very bad day here to put it nicely. Hmm, I like the pics of Zio with his fiery red eyes better.
