It's supposed to be direct to DVD, so I'm thinking of buying it when it comes out. I'm not sure if it will be good or not. It's supposed to be a set of six short films, each done in a different artistic style of anime. It could be really good, but the different styles could throw off the flow a little. I'd like to at least rent it and see it once, since it's supposed to bridge the last live action movie with the new one coming out this year.

Some of the clips I've seen do look rather un-Batman like. I think it will be kind of like the Animatrix - some parts will be good, but others will be downright terrible.

Batman is getting a bit overdone, I think. He's everywhere for the last several years.

I actually purchased this DVD last week for only $10.00 AUD. It’s good; I actually liked all six stories. I really liked the concept of Batman being somewhat of a myth in the first story but the animation was really abstract in that one, which really didn’t go with Batman. But the concepts behind the stories of Batman as a character was awesome, also the style of animation in the final two Batman stories were no doubt my favourite, they granted justice to the hero. ;)
