Well the first week of "DWTS" has come and gone. Find out more about how the competition went and about the first "star" contestant to be sent home, comedian Nikki Glaser:
Second couple was eliminated on "DWTS" last night. Danelle Umstead was eliminated. She is blind so dancing is a bit harder for her probably than the other couples. She did great in her dance last night, I thought but still reached the bottom scores. Technically there was an error so a lot of votes from online, etc., were not even counted. Fans are angry and are saying there should not have been an elimination due to the tech error. I think they are right. They should have brought her back to dance again next week.
John Schneider was the next contestant with the lowest scores. He danced to an Elvis theme. He was pretty good but still needs a lot of work.
I think I missed a couple that was eliminated a week or so ago. I missed that show. Anyway, no one was eliminated this week because they were at DisneyLand for Disney night, which featured all the dances being done to a Disney movie song, etc. I saw the last few minutes of that show. More next week. They will probably start doing two eliminations a week since they missed a week or so.
Ah I've forgotten ! Here in France we have a famous guest : Pamela Anderson ! I know that she have already participated to one or two american seasons but I'm not sure !
Yes, I think Pamela Anderson has been on "DWTS" previously. I don't think she did very well, but I really can't remember as it has been a long time. I know she did not win a mirror ball trophy though.
And, last week's elimination was former Olympian gymnist Mary Lou Retton. I didn't watch the show so I don't know how good at dancing she was, or was not. Still a lot of couples left competing for the trophy.
"DWTS" has wrapped up another season as of this past week. The mirror trophy was awarded to Bobby Bones and his pro dancing partner Sharna Burgess. Congratulations to both of them. From what I have read some people were not too happy that he was the winner. It seems some thought the better dancers were eliminated earlier. Oh well, that is how the dance floor spins.
"DWTS" will be back probably sometime in March, 2019 to do it all over again. I hope they have some more interesting celebrities next time. We'll see how it goes.
