D-Day

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Fri Jun 6, '08, 7:58 pm

Today is the 64th anniversary of D-Day (June 6, 1944) when the Allied Soilders landed on the beaches in Normandy during World War 2.

We remember this day and all it stood for and all it accomplished in helping to end the war, and yes, all the sacrifices and lives that were lost that day so freedom could be had as well.

God Bless The USA! :usa:

Some of our family members were in the Normandy battle in France, so it is especially meaningful for us. :salute:
