Cuba Gooding, Sr., has passed away. He was 72. He was the lead singer for the rock group "The Main Ingredient" who were very popular in the 1970's, etc. They had many hit songs including perhaps their most popular "Everybody Plays The Fool".

Cuba Gooding, Sr., was also the father of very popular actor, Cuba Gooding, Jr.

I know the son but I didn't know that his father was famous...:(
