Cook (Recipe) Books

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Sat Aug 28, '10, 12:50 am

Anyone have any favorite cook books, or recipe books, that you use a great deal and can heartily recommend?

There are so many different cook books out there today that it is hard to tell which ones are really good and valuable sources of information, and have some good, tasty recipes in them without trying them all, which is almost impossible to do.

Any recommendations will be much appreciated.

My husband is the cook in our home, so I'll have to ask him which of his cookbooks he likes and uses the most. I'm sure he has some good recommendations. I know that he really likes Ina Garten(?) from the Food Network(?). Sorry, I don't watch the channel or know how to spell her name properly, only that my husband has commented occasionally that what we're eating is one of her recipes.
