The new "Conan, The Barbarian" movie is out and seems to be getting some not to good reviews:

Anyone seen the movie? If so, what's your analysis of it?

How do you think it compares with the previous "Conan" movies with actor Arnold Schwarznegger playing the title role of "Conan"?

I'm not too interested in this new movie. I expect it to be more brutal and bloody than I would enjoy. The original wasn't, but cinema has changed a lot since then. I'm also unconvinced that the lead actor can carry the film. The only thing I've seen him in previously is Stargate: Atlantis and he didn't do an exceptional job there, IMO. His performance was good enough for a team series, but not enough to inspire my confidence for a solo feature.
