Dance Dance Revolution

Postby Rune_Walsh » Fri Jun 18, '10, 7:55 pm

The game and music is huge in Japan, and I have two DDR CD's with the techno music. I just love Dance Dance Revolution! I get up there and bust my moves(?) in arcade centers. I wish I had a Wii, or able to play it at home (does anyone have any advice to throw my way regarding this?).

So anyway... anyone else a fan? :D :happy_marle: :hyper:

I used to have DDR for PS2, I wasn't bad at it either, though it was nice becaue once in awhile I'd test how fast my fingers were instead so I'd plug in my controller and use it for this song since it was a challenge for my fingers.

No, that's a DDR autobot. Even says so in the corner. That was on the Challenge difficulty, sadly, I could only do difficult with my fingers, and about 20 seconds in expert. I never could beat this song with the mat.

Yeah, that is a little bit too advanced for even an experienced player. Just look at the speed of those directional keys! One can only imagine how painful one's fingers will be after all that. Great song, though. ^^

The higher levels of DDR gets to be just about memorizing the pattern and quick foot stomping. NO chance to show off your spins or other crap dance moves like some people do on the 4-5 levels.

In my experience on the earlier ones.. Circa the ones before 2000 and when I stopped playing in 2004.. the level 4-5 ones were the most fun to do.

I didn't feel like holding onto the back handle and stomping as quick as I could to try the original Afronova.
