If so, was your attempt a success, failure, or somewhere in-between?
This was inspired by a story on another forum, where a person had many novels and an interest in selling them. After attempting to do so on Amazon.com and other websites for six months, that person had not made a sale. So they asked: if you ever sold any of your books, did you make a profit? Also, however way you sold them, were there any cons or advantages?
Or did you just give them away freely?
I don't collect books in the sense of acquiring the best editions or versions of a book, but I do like to buy a book if I'm really interested in reading it. I used to subscribe to one of those mail order book clubs for that. In the past few years I lost most interest and stopping buy books as often, however.
I have purchased a few over the years that I later decided to sell on eBay, but that met with mixed success and little profit.
