Happy Columbus Day everyone! Today is the day we Americans, and others, celebrate Christopher Columbus' discovery of, or arrival in, America in 1492.

It's hard to tell when a holiday hits around my parts. My school doesn't celebrate anything. D:

I still had classes on Monday, as usual. They give us the only three day weekend of the semester on the very first weekend, when no doubt more students could actually use it right around the middle of the semester.
