Open Season

Has anyone seen this comedy film. It's an animated film, almost a cartoon of sorts. I just saw it a few days ago and enjoyed it. It was funny. It's about animals, and I like those kinds of movies, etc.

Bah. The talking animal genre is that one that's beginning to annoy me because it's reaching the point of overuse to me. Most of the recent ones that I've seen I really did not like much.
Next Pokemon game(s): Pearl
Last finished Pokémon game: Shield
Other games: Skyrim Special Edition (Switch), Spyro Reignited Trilogy (Switch & PS4), Okami (Switch & PS4)
Other gaming goals: completing a Living Pokedex (minus some event Pokes) and going through at least 1 game per generation

I haven't seen that one yet, but I remember the trailers looked kind of funny. I don't watch many of the talking animal movies, so I might like it if I ever get to see it. I have to agree that in some respects it's getting overdone. How many movies with penguins have there been in recent years? It seems like a lot.

basically we're running out of ideas for movies. if you look at some of our movies they're just ripoff of some japanese and korean films.

I really didn't like open season, it was rather lame comedy to me.
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

Interesting assessment. I agree to some extent. It seems basically all the movies I've heard about lately are things that have either been done before, or are sequels to past movies (some even 30 years old, aka Indiana Jones, Rocky, Rambo, etc.). I don't know if they are running out of ideas, or they are just staying with the tried and proven stuff that has already been a hit hoping the trend will continue on, or what.

I like westerns, but they don't make many of them any more. I haven't even seen the latest one with Russell Crowe yet, but want to. I guess the westerns don't seem to make a good profit like a Spiderman movie or something of that nature might do. But ya know, we're running out of hero movies too as practically everthing that can be made has been made already - superman, spiderman, fantastic four, ironman, etc., etc., etc.
