Bumping this thread up again for the current holiday season.

What is your Christmas tree, and other decorations, like for this year?

Have any other video game related ornaments on your tree for this year? If you could have any video game related ornament you wanted for your tree, what type of ornaments would you have?

We decided not to decorate very much this year. We still have up a tree and a few displays, but overall, it's a lot less than usual.

We have a smaller tree this year. One family member wanted that, though I'm not really very happy with it. It's a scrawny thing and just doesn't seem Christmasy to me. Not as many ornaments because of it, of course.

This reminds, though... I saw an eBay auction for a bunch of Mario ornaments last week. It seems like Mario characters are the only video game personalities that get the ornament treatment.

We have a artificial tree as well with just some plain ornaments and a few I use to put on our tree when I was growing up. I'm thinking about doing something as a suprise and finding a FFVIII small model Rinoa action figure thing and placing a hook on it so my wife can put it on the tree ^_^ My wife just loves Rinoa from FFVIII

My mother put the tree up in the middle of November. She has the lights running almost constantly. And she complains why the power bill is up so high. Well, what's a guy to do right?

Yep, that'll make it skyrocket. We barely ever run our lights. The power bill is high enough without it already!

Rather than one big tree, we have three small artificial trees at home. We started using artificial trees several years back when one of the cats climbed up the real tree and...well, let's just say it was a mess. Also, three small trees is easier anyway because we don't have to rearrange furniture nearly as much to fit them where we want them to go. Lights get run during the day, and are off at night.

Bumping this thread up for the current year of 2009 so some of our newer members (and older ones too) can express their views/opinions on this holiday topic. :)

What does your Christmas Tree and decorations look like this year?
