Pretty soon, some employers will be giving out their yearly Christmas bonuses or gifts. If you work, does your place of employment give out a bonus that you're looking forward to this year?

I'm not getting one, alas. I wonder if very many employers will cut the bonuses, or at least reduce them, due to the economy problems.

No bonus here either. I think a lot of places stopped doing that years ago. It would be nice to get one though.

Usually mine would come on last Friday, however I took mine a month earlier. My bouns was about 400 - 500 dollars extra. However we don't call them "Christmas Bonuses" we call them "Holiday Pay."

Bumping this thread up for the current year of 2009 so some of our newer members (and older ones too) can express their views/opinions on this holiday topic. :)

Are you getting a Christmas Bonus from your employer this year?

As for me, I don't think so. It's been a tough year with a very bad economy. Maybe things will be better next year.

2012 here and still no Christmas Bonus for us this year. Atleast it isn't as bad as it was last year though when we (and many others) were just happy enough to have a job period.

Did you get a Christmas bonus this year where you work and if so, what did you spend it on? I would have bought video games and more video games and other necessary toys that I couldn't or didn't want to do without. Christmas is a fun time and gifts should be fun, even those gifts you give yourself.

Bumping this topic up for 2015.

Anyone get a Christmas Bonus this year?

Lots of employers are still skipping the bonus checks due to one reason or another.
