Sandwich in a can

A new idea .... food in a can that you wouldn't ordinarily expect to find in a can .... such as sandwiches, pizza, toast, etc.:

So do you this this will be a winning idea, or do you think it will be a loser??

Hahaha, that’s pretty crazy. I can say for certain it definitely wont become a popular thing in Australia.

But I ask, will the lettuce on the sandwich still at least look fresh once nearing the end of the shelf date?

Sandwich in a can...so we're so busy now we can't even take the time to slice a tomato, some lettuce, some cheese and maybe peel apart lunch meat and put it between two slices of bread? That has to be predone?

Well, that's the concept that places like McDonaldshave been using for decades now and so far it's worked pretty well for them.

This is actually a brilliant idea, in a way. If the food is preserved as well as they claim, these guys could make a fortune by putting the canned food in vending machines. It would probably last longer and be fresher than stuff one can get from existing food machines. Those machines also have very different designs than a soda machine. This canned food could fit perfectly inside the soda machines.

If the preservation techniques for the food hold up, I wouldn't be at all surprised to see one of the big soda companies - probably Pepsi or Coca-Cola - buy this guy's company to get exclusive rights to include food in their machines.

Of course home-prepared meals will always be better, but for someone in a big hurry, this could be a real benefit.

It could also be big business in places where the vending machines are stationed, such as factories and other places of employment where there are many workers but they don't have time to go outside anywhere for food so they get something from a vending machine, etc.

Don't worry about cooking real and healthy food - here, just eat it up, folks! Preservatives and processed food is oooooh soooo tasty!

*Facepalm*

I will admit, though, that the "Candwich" would be handy in feeding people affected by natural disasters. Other than that... really people, making a real sandwich takes you two minutes, stat.
