This is an interesting question and theory! Chaz being a descendent of Rolf. It certainly might be possible somehow.

It's not something that I'm opposed to in principle, but it's really only something you can do once per franchise.
Of course, if there had to be a character that was descendant of Rolf, I'd make it Zio.

What would be interesting is if Zio was some sort of rogue Esper gone bad, or descendent of one.
But that might be too Star Wars-y.
