We can all agree that the original saga was great...I have hard time loving Online and Universe saga...I don't like the overall focus of those games, which are grind fest and rare hunt...

@Tanith - exactly! PSII is the "most" Sci-Fi in the series, I'd say.

I like PSII for being almost 100% sci-fi. It only strays to fantasy once on Dezolis.

@Xellos - it's cool, PSIII has a bad rep with some phans, but I think it's a great game, and is really unique!

I'm liking it for its overall "atmosphere"...which are nice words to say that I'm blinding myself to its fault...I guess I love it because its the PS with the most un-used potential. A fully complete PSIII would destroys every other PS game IMHO...unfortunately, this will never happen.

I agree, PS I is my fave, mainly because I never played the others until 5 years ago. Plus it's one of the most memorable games from my childhood too. 1991 anyone?

PS I is just so amazing, and I had a lot of memories made playing it as a kid, and PSIV is just so good that, well, they take the cake for my fave in the series.

For the Remix song from the Saturn Collection, you can get them all at the end of the 1st CD of Phantasy Star 1st Series Complete Album. In case you're also searching a physical media for it (or some other evil way to get it).

I hear you. The best part about PSIII, for me anyway, are the loopholes and speculation associated. The characters are really interesting, too.

lol. It's not bad. It took me a while to get into the game and the really long dungeon walks and such did bore me a bit but in the end it was fairly decent.

let's see, they did a remake of landmaster from PS I, the Motavia map music for PS II, the quintet track from PS III and landmaster from PS IV
