Today's lovely lady comes from the anime series Sorcerous Stabber Orphen. Cleao Everlasting is the tomboyish, feisty main female lead. Her father had inherited the Sword of Balthanders, and Orphen needed the sword. She accompanies him on his journey, allowing him to hold on to the sword as long as he doesn't object to her tagging along. As the sword was a gift to her from her now-deceased father, she claims that she is only coming to ensure that she gets it back. She and Orphen fight quite a bit - mainly silly, funny fights. But having had a crush on him previously, from afar, as the series goes on, she finds her feelings for him grow.(This fact is played up more in the second series, though.) Orphen gradually becomes attached to Cleo, eventually viewing her as the person most important to him.

Today's lovely lady comes from the game Valkryie Profile 2: Silmeria. Princess Alicia is the only child of King Barbarossa of Dipan, she also acts as the human host for the soul of the youngest Valkyrie, Silmeria. Alicia starts out extremely shy: her secluded upbringing and the conditions of her exile have left her feeling unwanted and insecure, but also kind, naive and overly trusting. She is all but dwarfed by Silmeria, who is clearly the dominant personality of the two and takes control of Alicia's body whenever decisive action is required.Prior to Alicia's birth, Silmeria, the youngest of the Valkyrie sisters, rebels against Odin's treatment of humans, going so far as to ally herself with Brahms, Lord of the Undead. Indignant at this transgression, Odin triggers the Sovereign's Rite to put Silmeria's soul to sleep, along with all the Einherjar she had recruited, choosing the young Alicia as her human host. However, something goes wrong during the Rite, and Silmeria remains conscious within Alicia. She is thus able to communicate with her from a young age, as well as taking temporary control of her body.

Today's lovely lady is one we all know. Princess Zelda is a member of Hyrule's Royal Family and plays an integral role in the history of Hyrule. Zelda is depicted as a kind and benevolent ruler. As the holder of the Triforce of Wisdom, she is wise beyond her years and intelligent enough to rule her people. She always wishes to do what is right for her people and is extremely self-sacrificing. Though not always capable of defending herself or her people on her own, Zelda is willing to use any means necessary to aid her allies to achieve those ends, no matter the cost to herself. Zelda is portrayed as a young girl or beautiful young woman, usually with blonde hair. Associated with the Goddess Nayru and the Triforce of Wisdom, Zelda possesses keen insight and good judgment—although this does not always aid her in avoiding capture. Most of Zelda's incarnations are also gifted with innate psychic or magical powers, such as telepathy and precognition. Although her full range of abilities has yet to be revealed, Zelda has demonstrated the ability to cast spells, create or annul barriers and seals, and shoot a bow.

One thing I always liked about the old Zelda cartoon was that they fleshed out Zelda's character a lot. She actually got in on the action, even saving Link a few times. I hope Nintendo will make a game that puts her in the focus of the series one day. Spirit Tracks was a good start, but a playable Zelda could add a whole new dimension to exploring Hyrule.

Today's lovely lady comes from Phantasy Star Portable 2. Emilia Percival is a 16 year old human girl belonging to Little Wing. She's a little naive and known to be somewhat lazy. Despite bungling her first job with Little Wing, she became fully involved with the group before she knew it. She doesn't talk about her past, and there seem to be no records of it, either.
