I have a cat and I'm a cat lover. I couldn't image finding my cat this way. Ohhh, poor kitty.

Poor kitty. That looks rather painful to say the least. Glad they were able to help the kitty and that it seems no really bad damage was done. Whoever shot that arrow should be ashamed of themselves and I hope they get caught.

Good news, the shooter turned himself in.

Here is another link with some more pictures of the cat before the surgery.

Horrifying pictures, especially if you are a cat lover/owner. It was a miracle that this kitty survived, and something like this can make you believe in miracles I think. I am now kind of torn in regards to the shooter. If it was truly an accident, then I feel bad for them, however I wonder what they were intending to shoot and if they should have even been doing that deed at all either. Either way, maybe this will be a valuable lesson to them to be careful when they are using their shooting equipment because many times accidents do happen even when you think you are being careful.

Also, one last note with the way the world is changing today, it is just not very safe for cats (or some other pets) to be outside unsupervised any more.

I agree, I never let me cat outside. I had 2 cats before the cat I have now, and I never let them outside either. I just don't trust people.

Impressive photos ! I've never seen them and for a cat lover like me,
it's hard to bear... :(
But luckily, this cat is now out of danger so all is well that ends well ! And no long term injuries so that's even greater :)
