I find this a bit surprising since I saw an article the other day stating that pets wouldn't get swine flu [at least dogs anyway].

I think I have heard about other animals getting swine flu...maybe ferrets and pigs and maybe even birds, so I'm not really surprised that it could be transfered to dogs, cats, etc. also. It is a frightening thought though, especially if you have pets.

I hope this doesn't spread to very many animals. If it gets into the wild animal population, there will be no controlling the spread.

That would very unfortunate and if that were to happen I’d say the poor animals would start to become endangered quite rapidly. :blank: :(
