PostPosted: Mon Oct 13, '08, 9:33 pm
Happy Thanksgiving today to all our friends, board members, etc., who live in Canada! :turkey:

Hope your day is a happy one! :bouncy:

My mouth is watering for turkey and all the trimmings as I write this. I can't wait until Thanksgiving day in the US next month. :burp:

I can't either actually. It'll be the first Thanksgiving me and my wife will have together.

Sounds wonderful, Kaloes! Hope you both have a good time and special Thanksgiving holiday together this year. :proposetoast:

If you and/or your wife plan on cooking a Turkey for the first time here's a little hint, remember to get the bag of giblets out of the Turkey before cooking. That's something a lot of people overlook the first time. I know I did, lol.

Just wondering if there is any difference in the way Canadians celebrate Thanksgiving and the way Americans celebrate Thanksgiving? Except for the different days they are celebrated on, that is.

Do we each have the same typical Thanksgiving Dinner, such as Turkey, Dressing, etc., etc., etc.?

Don't know why that entered my mind, it just did.

Bumping this up for 2011.

Happy Thanksgiving Day today (Monday October 10th) in Canada.

Hope you guys had a great day and didn't get too stuffed from eating too much turkey and trimmings or whatever. :)

Monday, October 8th, 2012 is Thanksgiving Day in Canada! :turkey:

We hope everyone has a bountiful, blessed, and Happy Day!! :)

I'm going to be thinking of all of you eating Turkey (which I love) while I longingly wait on our Thanksgiving Day here in the USA next month in November. Seriously, I'm thinking about moving or traveling to Canada this time of year just so I can celebrate Thanksgiving early and twice! :silly: I think it just might be worth it.
