Praying For Rain

Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Thu Nov 15, '07, 7:32 pm

2 days after Georgia's Governor and others had a special time of prayer seeking rain for the drought stricken area, it has rained in Georgia. Although it was a fairly good rain, the area could use more since the drought is so bad. The weather reports say it may rain again soon.

So, what do you think? Is that coincidence, or the answer to prayer?

I think it would be impossible to say either way. Maybe it is an answer, maybe it is just happenstance. Does it really matter, as long as they are grateful for it and it eases the drought?

It couldn't be totally affected, you can hardly affect anything in the future.
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

Maybe prayer had something to do with it, maybe not. I, for one, am leaning towards coincidence on this. However, one must keep an open mind when it comes to odd circumstances such as this.

Hm, I wonder if someone did a rain dance at the same time? I'm just glad for the rain, as long as there is something to keep me out from under it. :umbrella:
