Anyone else here love to watch butteflies? Or does anyone have a butterfly collection?

Butterflies are so beautiful with all their different various colors and so delicate as they fly.

It seems some Monarch butterflies are dwindling in their population, which is very sad.

I am a huge butterfly lover, SS! I particularly love Buddleia Davidii (commonly known as a "butterfly bush") in a flower garden, as they attract the butterlies.

Speaking of, here's a picture I took in my own backyard: littlebootsie.deviantart.com/art/Butter ... -129150239

Butterflies are one of the many reasons why I look forward to hiking in spring! Some of the trails my family hikes are literally swarming with butterflies in the spring. It's like being in a fantasy land!

I hope something can be done about the monarch population. :( Adding: It looks like people are being encouraged to plant milkweed, the monarch's natural habitat.

Aww...you guys make me miss butterflies. I haven't seen one for months, but I should be seeing them pretty soon. There's a nature trail where I live, and I get to see cute butterflies there, on occasion.

Ah, brings back memories of a class project in grade school!

I really haven't gone into the woods lately or anything, so I haven't noticed them for a long time.

We have alot of butterflies around here. Well when its warm, its been cold a few days so I haven't seen any.

When I was a kid I use to be scared of butterflies, why I don't know >.<, but now I think they're cool. I love to go outside and watch them fly around.

I've only seen one or two butterflies so far. We don't get very many around here normally, though. There aren't enough flowers to attract a lot of them.

We get lots around my place, mostly just the little yellow ones. But every now and then I see the really big ones with the blue and black wings. The just look so fragile, but they are quite amazing animals really.
