He was a very talented actor in many films and was also an accomplished artist, etc. He was married for several years to actress Janet Leigh and one of their daughters is actress, Jamie Lee Curtis.

Some of his wonderful films were "Some Like It Hot" (with Marilyn Monroe), "Spartacus", "Operation Pettitcoat", "The Vikings" (with Kirk Douglas), "The Defiant Ones" (with Sidney Poitier), and many, many more.
One of my favorite films of his was "Houdini" where he played the role of the famed magician Harry Houdini. Mr. Curtis' then wife, actress Janet Leigh, also starred in the film playing the role of Houdini's wife.
Mr. Curtis will be sadly missed and fondly remembered.
