Neymar ? Bad injury ! The colombian guy...I hope he is going to be suspended later : what an agression (and in fact I was more for colombia for the match !) but we'll see !
Now France is (alas) out but well done ! Hope Germany is going to be beaten by Brazil ! :)

Saw a little while ago that there are only 4 teams left and they are Brazil, Argentina, Germany, and the Netherlands. It also looks like the Netherlands has quite a record of previously winning this thing. I have no idea how it will go so I will just say congrats to all of them for making it this far in the game and good luck ahead!!! :)

Yes, I agree. Brazil has had the eyes of the world upon them while playing in and hosting this sporting contest and they have proved themselves exceedingly well time after time. Remember, it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game. Of course it does make one feel better to win sometimes but that doesn't always happen. This has been an exciting soccer event and fans worldwide have enjoyed it enormously.

Now, I believe the next match up is between Argentina and The Netherlands. It will be exciting also to see how event goes. :)

I watched a little bit of the final game in the World Cup match this afternoon and saw as Germany won the game and the gold trophy as they beat Argentina in the final match. Congrats to Germany on winning the trophy. And, congrats to all the teams and countries who were involved and played their very best.

Also, it was a lovely sight to see at the end of the match as they were sending off firecrackers and rockets, etc., in the sky and you could see the famous statue, Christ The Redeemer, in the background. So beautiful.

EDIT: Read some ridiculous news regarding the World Soccer Cup on today, the first day after the end of the games. First, it seems that the Manager of Brazil's soccer team is not getting his contract renewed:

Second, I can hardly believe it but Germany, the winners of the World Soccer Cup, does not even get to take the real trophy home with them. They will get to take a similar trophy home. It seems the real trophy is very expensive and as there have been security problems with it previously it is now keep under lock and key where it will be safe, hopefully:
