Soccer is like Baseball for me.

If I'm just listening to it then it's entertaining enough on it's own, but it's dreadfully dull to actually watch.

Portugal is laying a total egg against Germany in its opening match... :(

Oh well, at least I have two teams to cheer for. USA later today. Go USA!

As far as being a soccer fan, I'm a moderate fan, probably almost akin to Hukos. I do watch the World Cup, but I don't watch Major League Soccer (the US's top professional league). When I'm visiting my family members who get the Portuguese league games (the only league I almost-sort-of follow), I'll often watch games with them.

Yeah Portugal was very week this afternoon (unfortunately I wasn't able to Watch all) but France was great ! 3-0 vs Honduras : not the tougher team but a very "tough" team (in an agressive manner :( ) and at this moment I'm watching at Iran Vs Nigeria and the match is.. awful for the moment ! :(
And in more than 2 hours I'll Watch USA versus Ghana ! :)

I'm a fairly big soccer myself. I'm a really big fan of Major League Soccer as well as Sporting Kansas City, as well as Bayern Munich of the Bundesliga in Germany.

Saying that, I wasn't that big of a fan of international soccer, but this years World Cup has been mostly a blast. I haven't been able to follow it as closely as I would like thanks to work, but I will be following the US, Germany, and the other CONCACAF teams (Mexico, Costa Rica, Honduras).

France SERIOUSLY put a beating on the Swiss. Aside from Germany and the Netherlands, they're looking fairly good thus far.

Also happy for Costa Rica. They represented CONCACAF well!

Yeah, the match against switzerland/Swiss/Suisse was great ! What a great match for our team but it's only the beginning ! Yeah Germany and netherlands are great too but there is a lot of american continent team that are great too ! Brazil and Argentina seems to have many problems bt they are still there ! :)

And congrats for Costa Rica ! What a match Vs Italy !

Saw a little bit on the news this afternoon about the match between Brazil and I think it was Chili (not sure about that). Any way it looked like a good one. Congrats to Brazil for coming out ahead. Looking forward to Tuesday when the USA plays again.

Edit: Well, the USA lost their match on Tuesday, but well done to them anyway. Congrats to the winners of the match, and now looking ahead to see what happens next.
