What is Boxing Day? I mean, what is it celebrating and all that? I've seen in on the calendar for years, but I have no idea what the holiday is about.

Boxing day is the day after Christmas, and from what I know, everything goes on sale. (or so I've been told)

Right here! I am Canadian! *Points to sig*

I had to work that day... That sucked so bad. We had one guy not show up and another leave for his break never to return from his break.

But, as far as I call boxing day, it is shopping hell. On top of that, the mall where I work decided Boxing Week would be much better! Right up until New Years Eve they decided to have it continue. Well, at least I'm off until Wednesday, so that's all good.

Also, when I was younger I thought boxing day had to do something with cardboard boxes... >.>

I keep imagining everyone wearing boxing gloves and going at each other ROCKY style, lol. :p That's the first thing that popped into my head on hearing "boxing day". Actually, it sounds a lot like our after Christmas shopping sales day, etc. They are a headache for the most part, too.
