Postby Silver_Surfer1 » Wed Apr 9, '14, 7:27 pm

Heard this morning on the news of the death of Wrestling's legend, Ultimate Warrior, at the age of 54. So happy that he was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame very recently. Condolences to his many fans and his family. :tombstone: :rose:

I remember watching the Ultimate Warrior wrestle when I was growing up. He was a little crazy, but a talented in ring entertainer. What a shame that he died 3 days after being inducted into the hall of fame. He didn't get much time to enjoy it did he?

Very sad day in wrestling. His last promo seems really prophetic now, I'm glad he was able to at least step in the ring one more time and have his say, he's definitely a legend.

Sadly many of the Wrestlers from that time.. the mid 80's though the early half of the 90's haven't lived into old age. I often thought Warrior would be one of the few to escape it.

Yeah, the mortality rate in the wrestling biz is just insane. Goes with the territory, I guess, but I think it's a pity, I wish they could somehow get a union together or whatever and work something out with Vince where they're not on the road pretty much every day of the year, the human body just can't take abuse like that.
