What is your favorite movie trilogy?

Postby Neithird » Mon Dec 10, '07, 11:02 pm

What is your favorite trilogy of motion pictures and why?

My favorite is Star Wars. It's just such a classic story, with great characters, dastardly villains, and epic settings.

Star wars, cuz its the only trilogy I know. XDDD Plus, it was a challenge for the makers of the film.
Everything has a pattern. Something set. Even random things. They aren't random at all, its complex mathematics. The trick is to find the pattern. Then you can exploit it.

People think things have a certain end. Taxes. Work. Due dates don't really exist. Trust me. When you put a band of world scholars in the same room, and set them on talking about anything, the most interesting topics come up. The existence of negative time. The probability of "random occurrence". The government's involvement in the media. And falsified due dates. They aren't real, trust me....

The extended editions of Lord of the Rings is my favorite. It has a lot of great scenes, the classic story, and excellent actors.

Hmmm, interesting question but a hard decision to make.

Was Indiana Jones a triology, or will the newest one coming out in May 2008 be #3 or #4?

I like the triologies of Star Wars, Lord Of The Rings, Spiderman, Pirates Of The Carribean, soon to be RAMBO with this newest addition coming out too.

And what about movies with more sequels than "triologies" like Rocky and Die Hard? Very hard to choose there.

The new Indiana Jones with be #4, so we could say it's a trilogy for now. Rambo is already a trilogy; the upcoming flick for that will be #4 also.
