Biting Ant

This is the first of several biomonsters that Amy must face when trying to deliver aid to the Wood Town elementary school. This mutant ant blocked her path to a river. With a knife from the local weapon shop, she was able to drive it away. If you ever see an ant type biomonster with a knife sticking out of it's back when exploring Motavia, you've found this very creature.

Just shows how different translations can be. In the Phantasy Star 2 game that biting ant was called an antlion. Sega definitiy had some wicked ideas for these phantasy star enemies though.
