Flynn and Claire art

With 'The End of The Age' continuing to expand and now moving at a pretty quick pace now, ideas for artwork have been coming in. I've got 3 more lined up already. Here's the latest one, completed just yesterday. You probably know who they are, the names are in the title otherwise. The background, for those curious, is one of my own photos.

Very beautiful drawing. The real background gave a cool effect to the art. Their eyes are impressive: they really shine.

The eyes were the simplest part to do actually, though I maybe made these ones a little larger than normal. But they were simple enough to do. It's something I've worked up as I've gone along.
Another thing I notice is that the drawing never looks truly complete until the eyes are done. I suppose that's mainly because it's what gives it life. Otherwise, in this case, all you have is a blob of green and a blob of blue in their place.

I've already praised this one in another place, so I'll just post here to up my number of posts...okay. Excellent. Love the eyes, I hadn't noticed how beautifully they were detailed until now.

This is an excellent piece overall. Excellent work on the colors and shading, the proportions and placement are all spot on, and you've got that great selection for a background that adds even more of a personal touch.

But there's one thing that just derails my mind on this for some reason. It's the noses. I know it's an odd thing to point out, especially for me. It's just... well, everything else is so detailed. The hair, the clothes, the eyes, even that ear... but then the noses lack that level of detail. I think maybe they need nostrils.

Hmm. Well it may be something to add on and it would have helped add a little extra depth, but noses don't always have nostrils visible in this sort of thing. I know I've never drawn one in before now. ^^ If I ever find myself drawing profile in again, probably not for a long time, I'll need to take note of that.

Bumping this up again just because I wanna.

Well there are a few pieces of artwork for these 2 coming up. One is a pairing. The current project is Claire related. In fact, I'd probably say the majority of my future drawings are for these two.
