New Spider discovery

A new species of Spider has been discovered right here in the USA in the state of Alabama:

Huh, that's closer to home than I would have expected. Usually one hears about new species being discovered in rain forests or very unexplored areas. To find one in the middle of the United States must be quite rare.

Well, what are they then? Just bugs to me, lol. Oh, I know I probably studied this in science class in school but evidently I wasn't all that interested at the time. :wink:

Maybe spiders are considered to be insects because some person like to crush them ? ;)

Spiders are arachnids. Other arachnids include ticks and scorpions.
