It sounds like these folks in the northeast US have it pretty bad with this ice storm, power outages, etc.

Anyone here affected by this storm in any way???? If so, take care and try to stay warm.

Like the guy said, "I'm sick of winter and it hasn't even officially gotten here yet". I agree. Winter officially arrives this year on December 21.

From everything I've seen so far, this seems to be a much colder and badder winter than I can remember in several years. Brrrrrr!

They really should think about adjusting that date. I think it's tied to the Solstice or something. It is definitely two or three weeks too late, though.
