what if Sari wasn't actually Lena's daughter but either her mother (omgwtf to the extreme) or a sister that was recently born after the generation ended.

Admittedly, I am a Gwyn/Adan generation fan. So, I pick Adan-Kara.

(I can't remember - was the Kara from Adan's group the princess one, or the fighter one?)

I would go with Crys and Laya. Because Sari is the mother of Crys he has oustanding HP and Laya has a good mixture of skills so their son or daughter even (if possible ) woild have a mixture of high HP and skills

Kara in Nial's time (Adan/Aron's quest) is always the princess one. The warrior one always shows up in Ayn's path (Sean/Crys' quest).
