I think I've said it elsewhere, but I'm not much of one to comment on the technical aspects of music. For me, stuff usually falls into the categories of I like it or I don't like it. This, I like. I do think it could use some volume adjustments, as the volume seemed to fluctuate a lot between certain parts (but don't ask which, 'cause this little player in my browser doesn't track the time played). But overall, it is a very excellent blending of the songs. I like it better than most of the game's original music, truth be told.

It was easy to tell that a lot of love went into making this project because the results are fantastic! The music was really enjoyable to listen to. In fact, I may listen to it the rest of the day. I could hardly stop my feet from tapping while listening to it and even thought about getting up and dancing a bit to the music. The upbeat sound is a winner to me in every way as I prefer that type of music. All I can say is that I think it's an excellent piece of music. :clap:

To answer your observation Thoul, the song is kinda made to sound that way, it's divided into three parts. the first part, all the way after the second time the Rise or Fall/Movement plays, is meant to be energetic but not too much. Then, all the way until the first time we hear Death Place is the second part, smoother, quieter, more relaxed, meant to lure the listener in a false sense of "this has calmed down". Then the third part kicks in, BAM! In your face, enjoy some epic battle music!

I was feeling just a wee bit down today (think I'm coming down with a cold or something) so I decided that what I needed was to listen to some good, inspiring music, and so I listened to this again, and it did the trick....feeling so good right now, woo hoo !!!!!!!!!!!

Very cool stuff, man. And I imagine it had to be a lot of work simply to put together a medley of that size. And also just to choose the songs! Phantasy Star 2 had such great music.
