Tropic Thunder movie - Robert Downey, Jr.

Has anyone heard about this movie coming out called " Tropic Thunder"? It has created a stir because Robert Downey, Jr., (Ironman) is playing a black man in the movie, with makeup & all. The movie also stars Ben Stiller and Jack Black. Those two names along should tell you that it must have a lot of comedy in it as well.

From reading the promo below, it sounds like a rather interesting movie, I must admit. And, as far as Downey goes, he certainly does not look like himself at all. I would have never recognized him and I'm not talking about just being black - his facial look does not resemble him at all in any way. Very surprising and a good job of makeup, etc., I think.

I want to see this movie. I like movies that start out one way and develop into something else.

I haven't heard of that one before, but I'm sure word of it will be everywhere before long. Downey does look a little different (it's his nose, I think), but I'm sure a lot of people will be angry about this one.

"Tropic Thunder" is out now and doing well at the box office from what I've heard. It toppled "The Dark Knight" from number one spot at the box office this past week, I think. That is no small feat.

Robert Downey Jr., (Ironman) is in this one. I can't wait to see how he does in this role.
