Maguire as Spidy 4-5

Actor Toby Maguire has signed on to do more Spiderman movies:

I heard about that. I'm glad he and the director are both returning. Hopefully these movies won't suffer from villain overload like #3. Making them together will be great if the story is closely tied together.

There was just to much going on in 3 for me to even know what was happening.

I agree with Kaloes. 3 just had way to much going on to get a good grip of the story. Not to metion the actor who played as Venom I was very dissapointed in he looked nothing like his comic book and in game looks. Venom is suposed to be huge and scary that guy just wasn't and Venom died at the end so he can't be spider-mans rival any more they really stuffed that up!

Lucas, take heart! I wouldn't be surprised if Venom showed up again at some point and time in the movies. You know what they say " nobody ever really dies in movies and tv ".

Man I hope so cause Venom was basically spidy's arch nemesis in the comics so was Carnage but I like Venom better

Venom could easily return. They left a couple of open holes for that in the movie. Dr. Connors still has a piece of the suit (which could tie into a Lizard story) and a little piece from the death scene survived too. But I don't think they'll have Venom in these new Spider-Man movies. They're working on a Venom movie, so he may be saved for that.
